A Huron County grand jury is likely to hear the case involving a man accused of firing shots inside a Norwalk bar on St. Patrick's Day.
On Friday in Norwalk Municipal Court, Steven C. Rand, 27, of Lorain, waived his right to a preliminary hearing involving the charge of possession of a firearm in a beer-liquor premises. The incident happened March 17 shooting at Charlie's Bar in Norwalk.
His case has been bound over to the Huron County Common Pleas Court, where a grand jury is likely to hear it.
