MONROEVILLE - Music lovers will be in for a treat Saturday night at Kiley's in Monroeville.
The Texas Toast Band will entertain with its version of country and rock music.
The band is a fusion of two other groups The Eric Booke Band and JP Country.
They come from the New Philadelphia area and consist of Eric Brooke, lead guitar and vocals; Clint Wolf, lead vocals, rhythm guitar and keyboards; Jason Holcomb, bass and vocals; and Brad Doerfler, drums and vocals.
"The band is a ball of high energy," Wolf said. "We are very animated and love to interact with the crowd.
"Our set list is mostly top-40 country, but we also play a little classic country, but give it a 'Texas Toast' feel," Wolf said. "One fan described us by saying, 'you guys rock country and country rock.' We think that is a perfect description."
Texas Toast often throws in a couple of ZZ Top numbers for good measure.
"We play a country version of 'You Shook Me All Night Long' (AC/DC)," Wolf said. "It always raises eyebrows and gets the crowd hootin' and hollerin'. We've even been known to try playing songs we never played before when someone asks. We're pretty much crazy.
"We also play some original material that fits in with the cover material we play," Wolf added. "Our music is different because it's not quite country, but it's not quite rock. It's simply The Texas Toast Band. The crowd can expect a fun time with a band that is very personable from the time we start until the time we stop."
There is no cover charge for Saturday's concert.
