If I’m fast enough, one man’s trash is my treasure

I just got off the phone with my "mole" at the Norwalk Sanitation Department. "Joe" has disclosed some highly classified, inside information concerning this year's date for Operation ASTPU (code word for Annual Spring Trash Pick-Up). It's not that I have tons of stuff I want to get rid of. We live outside of the city limits anyway and have the sweet, sweet, joy of taking our junk directly to the landfill ourselves. Rather, I'm planning to hop in my truck and drive slowly along the streets of Norwalk, in search of the fabulous treasures people will set along the curb during ASTPU.
