Joshua R. Williams, 25, of 104 E. Ashtabula St., North Fairfield, attempted to pass the tractor-trailer driven by Ralph D. Leighty, 64, of Augusta, Ill., Feb. 26 while heading west on U.S. 20. About the same time, Leighty began to pass the tractor-trailer driven by Gregory T. Graham, 47, of Murphy, N.C. Williams went off the left side, hit a sign post, came back onto U.S. 20 and hit the left side of Graham's truck. No citations were issued and there were no injuries.
Scott A. Haynes, 16, of 3130 Ohio 18, was charged with failure to yield the right of way while turning left in the Feb. 27 collision with the vehicle driven by Diane S. Lee, 50, of 46 Stony Brook Lane, Wakeman, on U.S. 20.
Perry E. Murr, 55, of 2407 Jennings Road, New London, was charged with failure to control Feb. 27 after he went off the right side of Jennings Road and hit a mailbox and several trash cans. He re-entered the road, again went off the right side and hit a tree stump and guide wire.

The Lorain County Jail reported being ready to release James E. Mosley Jr., 30, of Vermilion, from custody Tuesday. He was arrested on a local warrant and charged with failure to appear on the original charge of driving without a license. Mosley currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.
