HIGHWAY PATROL

No citation was issued Monday after Robert W. Stower, 56, of 760 Dublin Road, backed out of a Sandusky Street, Monroeville, business parking space and hit the parked vehicle owned by Lora J. Lindenberger, whose age was unavailable, of 77 Monroe St., Monroeville.

Lesa L. Hunter, 41, of 154 Williams St., Apt. A, New London, was charged with failure to yield the right of way Tuesday in the collision with the vehicle driven by Jeffrey R. Dawson, 43, of 14 Dublin Road, at the intersection of Ohio 162 and Old State Road. Hunter reported minor injuries, but wasn't transported. North Central EMS took Dawson to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with serious injuries.

NORWALK FIRE

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 11:27 a.m. Wednesday at 10 St. Clair St. Returned to station at 11:38.

Mounted a smoke detector at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday at 92 Wooster St. Returned to station at 2:15.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 1:48 a.m. today at 138 Leisure Lane. Returned to station at 2:10.

NORWALK POLICE

A Gallup Avenue resident reported the theft of her electric pocket bike Wednesday.

A Cortland Street resident reported a custody dispute Wednesday.

A Gallup Avenue resident reported someone put bleach into the gas tank of his mother's car Wednesday.

A Newton Street resident reported receiving two collection notices from a Bloomington, Ill. business Wednesday for two cell phones started in her name. Police made copies of the bills which totaled about $1,088.

An employee of a Whittlesey Avenue business reported the theft of two 18 packs of beer Wednesday. The incident remains under investigation.

Rolland G. Forney, 28, of Sandusky, was transferred from the Defiance County Jail on five local contempt of court warrants Wednesday to the Huron County Jail, where he remains in custody.

An area resident reported finding a Huffy bicycle abandoned Wednesday on North Hester Street.

Jesse D. Klotz, 22, of 14 Cline St., was charged with disorderly conduct today and released.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The state Highway Patrol requested a deputy respond to Jennings Road, New London, for a motorist driving around a pond Wednesday.

The Ontario Police Department reported having Patricia A. Andrade, 52, of 518 Maple St., Willard, in custody on a local contempt of court warrant Wednesday. She is serving a six-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

A Holiday Drive, Willard, resident reported receiving an obscene telephone call Wednesday.

Andy C. McCloskey, 28, of 5810 U.S. 20, Lot 79, Wakeman, was arrested Wednesday on a local warrant at the Lorain County Jail and charged with failure to appear. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

An area motorist reported a train blocked a New State Road, Greenwich, railroad crossing for 10 minutes Wednesday.

An employee of a South U.S. 250 business reported a hit-skip accident Wednesday.

A U.S. 250 resident reported a problem with snowmobiles Wednesday.

An Austin Drive, Willard, resident reported his son was assaulted on a school bus Wednesday.

A Townline Road 12, Willard, resident requested undisclosed assistance Wednesday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about an unruly juvenile Wednesday on U.S. 250, New London.

A West Street, New Haven, resident reported her 13-year-old nephew ran away Wednesday.

An Ohio 61, Monroeville, resident reported an unruly foster child Wednesday.

An area motorist reported vandalism to a vehicle Wednesday at Western Reserve High School.

A Neal Zick Road, Willard, resident reported an unruly juvenile Wednesday.

An employee of a U.S. 250, New London, business reported an unwanted suspect was there Wednesday.
