Don't let pet controversy kill good fundraiser

Well I thought I heard and seen it all, but then I have seen the newspaper and a heard a few dumb comments on the radio and I have determined that Norwalk has some dumb people that live here. The contest is for the Huron County Humane Society for operational funds, (they get little funding, if any) not for the board members pockets. Being a past winner and a few runner ups, I never looked it at as a way to make money, I did it for the heartfelt way I felt towards those homeless animals. As far as Kathy Olak, we have had a friendly rivalry in the past on DONATING for my pictures. I have never questioned the voting process, even if Kathy or someone else won. So I guess "Precious'" owner should be happy that Kathy gave up that prized honor.

Don't forget to donate to the humane society, because stupid things like this, might put an end to this contest.
