Celebrate Township Day by thanking trustees

Ohio Township Day takes place Feb. 1. This day has been set aside to recognize the hard work and dedication of township trustees and fiscal officers and to promote grassroots government. The township form of government was brought to America by the pilgrim fathers in 1620. Today, 22 states have this form of government, known either as the town or township.
