M'ville boy denies break-in charges

A 17-year-old Monroeville boy denied burglarizing Cold as Ice Slide Thru during a hearing Wednesday in Huron County Juvenile Court. The suspected burglar is accused of crawling through one of three 7-inch by 26-inch windows in a garage door facing Herrick Alley sometime between Dec. 19 and 20. Judge Timothy Cardwell said the boy also is accused of stealing cash and about $1,650 worth of lottery ticket packets as well as removing a surveillance video tape from the business.
