State Rep. Terry Boose (R-Norwalk Township) said years ago he wasn't going to Columbus to make friends.

Just recently, Boose, a Republican, truly found himself alone on a island.

House Bill 483, which Gov. John Kasich just signed into law, was also known as the mid-year budget review.

Boose was the only Republican to vote "no" on this bill.

He explained why Wednesday in a story published in the Norwalk Reflector. What a Maverick

It's easy to vote no, to please certain groups, when you know the bill will still pass.
There is someone in the shadows with deep pockets he wanted to put on a show for.
Politics pure and simple

Yeah, time to do away with this mentality.

Time to do away with..and WHY?
Ever seen any evidence as to my "theory" not being FACT?
If you do not believe this type of streamline voting happens..i don't know what to say..... but shake my head.

I was referencing the political mentality of Boose.

Kobayashi Maru

I wonder if he read the bill this time?

Cliff Cannon

T.B. very cool you voted " no " Not because I understand the in's & out's of the bill. Rather, because, I enjoy a leader, sometimes being the lone wolf. Please, keep up the good work my friend

Simply standing by a "politician" (friend or not) simply for "being the lone wolf".
Turn a blind eye???
Hard to believe, coming from a man who tries to convince everyone, his knowledge is superior to all... on all.

OH I hate it again that I have to comment on one of Clif's comments, but again, Clif, comments and blindly supports someone and a bill, NOT because he even understands it, as he readily admits to, NO , but because Mr Boose seems to be a friend of his...seriously, wasn't it you and the other 46% of the blind people that Mitt Romney talked about in the last Presidential election?Do you relize that Most Americans are fed up with Congress and the Senate and their fighting, and their lack of activity to act in a way to get us out of this mess, and yet the same people keep getting re-elected over and over again????why... well here it is loud and clear... someone who boldly supports his old pal, and clearly admits he does NOT understand the issue at all, but he trusts his old pal...get real... become an educated voter.. you know you can do what is best for the country, and your state , and your county, and your city, and even go against what some of your "friends in office" support, and it should NOT be personal.. I would hope that you do disagree with some of your friends and they do not completely agree with everything you say or think or feel..otherwise you have never matured past the third grade... become part of the solution instead of part of the problem...

"Do you relize that Most Americans are fed up with Congress and the Senate and their fighting, and their lack of activity to act in a way to get us out of this mess....."

Terry Boose is a STATE Representative. He is part of the OHIO House of Representatives. He is not part of the fighting between the US House of Representatives and the US Senate. Good try, though.

it is all part of the same dysfunctional wheel that hardly ever turns, and when it actually does, it is off balance, and usually crushes the citizens, and makes the "fat cats" fatter.. and the middle class, is odd that Mr Boose has been in office for years and according to what I have seen has actually done nothing so far... and somehow this past week has been able to have his picture on the front page of the newspaper the past 7 days .... is it election time????

LOL, must be! It seems the only time we ever hear about some of our elected officials is when they're up for re-election. Joe Hintz is a good example.

BOOSE a leader blazing a trail to nowhere.

Keep up the good work Rep. Boose, you have my vote again this fall.
