n Mark R. Young, 57, of Jenera, was charged with failure to control Wednesday after he failed to negotiate a left curve on Ohio 547 and went off the right side, causing yard damage and hitting a driveway embankment.

NORWALK FIRE

n Assisted North Central EMS with a stroke victim at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at 66 Norwood Ave. Returned to station at 5:34.

NORWALK POLICE

n Adam J. Brown, 31, of 4715 Plank Road, was charged with failure to maintain continuous lanes of travel Wednesday after he hit the left front of the parked car owned by Donna M. Sparks, whose age was unavailable, of 2680 Ridge Road, on Whittlesey Avenue. Brown was pulling into a parking space in front of the post office at the time.

n The owner of a 1996 Dodge Caravan reported a group of juveniles were throwing rocks and sticks across Bouscay and Whittlesey avenues Wednesday, some which hit the van his girlfriend was driving.

n Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 hang-up call Wednesday from Grove Avenue. A juvenile suspect later was charged with being delinquent.

n Luke J. Camp, 23, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant Wednesday on the original conviction of driving without a license. He was released after posting bond.

n The Greenwich Police Department reported having Ricky D. Maye, 33, of 25 N. Railroad St., Greenwich, in custody on a probation violation warrant Wednesday. He is serving a 14-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

n A police officer was assaulted while assisted an North Central EMS with transporting a patient to a Toledo hospital Wednesday.

n The managers of a Jefferson Street mobile home park reported two juvenile suspects, 8 and 9, kicked in the bottom panel of the door to the locked laundry building Wednesday. They were released to a relative.

n A Harris Avenue resident reported being harassed on the telephone by an area bank employee Wednesday.

n Responded with North Central EMS to Townsend Avenue where a person wouldn’t answer the door and was suspected of taking a bottle of undisclosed pills Wednesday.

n Responded to a West Main Street disturbance Wednesday.

n Michelle L. Jameson, 24, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on a warrant Wednesday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs on the original conviction of disorderly conduct. She was released after posting bond.

n Ryan P. Poorman, 18, Jade M. Gilliam, 18, and Gary J. Dickman Jr., 19, whose addresses were unavailable, were charged with possession of marijuana in connection with a Westwind Drive business parking lot incident today.

n An Olive Road, North Fairfield, resident reported identity theft Wednesday.

n A Hartland Center Road, Collins, resident accused her estranged husband of driving by her home daily as of Wednesday, yelling verbally abusive and obscene things at her and her children.

n A Zenobia Road, Wakeman, resident reported telephone harassment Wednesday.

n A West Peru Olena Road resident reported having spoken to a wildlife officer about someone operating a backhoe in the creek Wednesday. The complainant said the Army Corps of Engineers is investigating the suspect in connection with damaging the creek bed.

n The Monroeville Police Department reported having Andrea Adkins, 39, of 29 Milan Ave., Monroeville, in custody on a passing bad checks warrant Wednesday.

n The Norwalk Police Department requested a deputy contact a suspect wanted in an open investigation Wednesday.

n An area resident requested a deputy check on the well-being of his 13-year-old son, who locked himself in the bathroom Wednesday on Willard West Road, Willard. The complainant accused the mother of threatening to hit the boy with a golf club.

n The Norwalk Police Department reported a suspected attempted suicide attempt Wednesday on Townsend Avenue.

n A Hartland Center Road, Collins, resident reported a loud music complaint Wednesday.
