A motorist stopped for speeding faces a host of drug- and alcohol-related charges in connection with an Ohio 4 traffic stop.

Dillon J. Connor, 20, of Brook Park, was charged with possession of alcohol, hashish, marijuana, possession of hashish-related drug paraphernalia and a seatbelt violation. The charges are in connection with a traffic stop at 5:50 p.m. Friday by Trooper Sarah Frey, of the state Highway Patrol, who gave a warning to Connor about speeding.

Connor's passenger, Kendall B. Hilt, also 20, of Brook Park, was charged with possession of hashish. Troopers said they smelled the suspected marijuana and found about a gram of hashish, a hemp-related substance, in a green container in a book bag behind the right rear passenger seat.
