The city of Norwalk is instituting a new water meter reading process to shorten the time between the reading date and the billing date.
New account numbers have been issued for all users, which can be found on your April bill. Residents will need to use this new number when paying through their banking institution to ensure that the payment is credited properly.
For those currently enrolled with the city's ACH payment program, you do not need to contact your bank.
If you are registered to view your bill online or via email -- you must re-register using your new account number to view your bill. You will be required to create a new user name.
