Ohio bull riding fans will get the opportunity to experience the toughest sport on dirt when the Professional Bull Riders Blue DEF Velocity Tour bucks into Quicken Loans Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.
For one day only, the best up-and-coming bull riders in the world will face off with foes nearly 10 times their weight in sinewy brawn during the most thrilling eight seconds in sports! Each rider will face off against at least two of the rankest bulls on the planet. At the end of the competition, the rider with the highest combined score will be crowned the champion.
Tickets start at $15 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office, online at theQarena.com, charge-by-phone at (888) 894-9424 and all northern Ohio Discount Drug Marts. A $3 facility fee will apply per ticket.
Cleveland will be the 11th stop on the 2014 Blue DEF Velocity Tour. It kicked off in Reno, Nevada in January and will make stops in Omaha, Nebraska; Salt Lake City, Utah; Los Angeles, California; Cincinnati, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky and Minneapolis, Minnesota this year.
Select events will be broadcast on PBR LIVE, a CBS Interactive digital broadcast platform. The Blue DEF Velocity Tour broadcasts on PBR LIVE represent the first time that PBR fans will be able to view a regular schedule of non-BFTS events, a long-standing request from PBR’s passionate fans.
