Norwalk resident Kevin Obermeyer just might have stolen the show Sunday evening at the Dirtsandwich Music Co.

Obermeyer was one of a number of acts paying tribute to The Beatles. The 25-year-old Norwalk grad performed two acoustic, subtle performances of "Norwegian Wood" and "Across the Universe" much to the delight of the sold-out crowd.

Just before taking the stage, Obermeyer, 25, talked a bit about music and the local scene. "You have to travel 60 miles to the east, west or south to find a place like this," he said about Dirtsandwich.

A story about Obermeyer was published recently in the Norwalk Reflector. Mr. Obermeyer! I was waiting for one of my previous students to make an impact so I could say "I remember when..." I still have your Boomer donated "snare drum" guitar!
