A Bellevue man facing two felonies was arraigned Thursday in Huron County Common Pleas Court.

Kenneth E. Jenkins, 22, of 1420 E. Main St., Lot 80, entered "not guilty" pleas to one count each of receiving stolen property and forgery. His trial date is Feb. 25. If convicted, he faces six months to one year behind bars on each charge.

Huron County Assistant Prosecutor Richard Woodruff said the case was transferred from Bellevue Municipal Court in late July and presented to a grand jury the next month.

Jenkins said he was charged with burglary in 2008 as a juvenile and served time in the Department of Youth Services.

The defendant must post 10 percent of a $2,500 bond before being released from the Huron County Jail. Woodruff said Jenkins had posted the bond earlier.
