Village police are staying mum about using a search warrant Monday morning.

Authorities used the warrant between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. at 383 Monroe St., Monroeville.

"It's part of an ongoing, multi-jurisdiction investigation," Monroeville Police Chief Gary Lyons said Monday afternoon. "I can't give you much more than that."

Lyons declined to say how long the investigation has lasted or when it started.

"It involves several states and several state agencies. One of them is Oklahoma," he said, adding that the case involves a local resident.

Agents with the Ohio Bureau of Investigation were processing the scene as of early Monday afternoon.

"No charges have been filed, but may be forthcoming. We're consulting with the county prosecutor," Lyons said.

Google the address, you can kinda figure out what they were doing.
