A Monroeville man was sentenced to seven years in prison Wednesday for sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy last summer.
In late October, Matthew S. Hohler, 20, of 3111 Standardsburg Road, waived his right to have a grand jury hear his case and pleaded guilty to one count of rape, a first-degree felony. Huron County Prosecutor Russell Leffler and defense attorney K. Ronald Bailey jointly recommended Hohler serve a five-year prison term at the time....
