Two Norwalk teenagers sustained sore necks Thursday following a crash where the U.S. 20 bypass ends at the Cleveland Road exit.

Yilan Chang, 48, Hudson, was driving a 2005 Honda Civic east on U.S. 20 when he crashed his vehicle into the back of the stopped vehicle being operated by Brent A. Larson, 18, of 805 Ohio 61, said Sgt. Brian Mamere of the state Highway Patrol's Norwalk post.

Both vehicles traveled off the right side of the road and came to rest in a grassy area.

The accident occurred during dry conditions, Mamere said.

Chang, who wasn't injured following the 4:15 p.m. accident, was charged with following too close. Neither Larson nor his passenger, Kayla Appeman, 15, of 805 Ohio 601, were transported to a hospital.

Mamere said Chang's vehicle sustained a cracked front bumper cover, while Larson's 2011 Kia had a cracked rear bumper cover.
