Senior Enrichment Services (SES) called last week's "Taste of Firelands Food Show" a big success.

Residents from all over the Firelands area were treated to the best that Casa Fiesta, LaPatea, Berardi's, Gardners SuperValue, Pampered Chef and Tastefully Simple had to offer. The crowd enjoyed appetizers, sandwiches, entrees and desserts.

"Because of the work of the staff, support from the community and the willingness of so many vendors to participate, I think the show was a great success for our first year," said Lucinda Smith, SES executive director .

The success has prompted SES to begin plans for next year's show. Food establishments interested in information on how to participate can call Liz Truxell at (419) 668-6245.
