AT&T announced this week that it will hire nearly 230 workers across Ohio, including more 125 new positions. The jobs will focus on supporting the company’s expanding wireless, Wi-Fi, high-speed Internet, voice and cloud-based services, officials said.
In the first half of 2013, AT&T invested more than $225 million in its Ohio networks, officials said. The company hired nearly 840 new employees in Ohio during the first 10 months of this year.
“AT&T continues to add jobs and invest in our 21st century networks to ensure we are providing the highest level of service consumers demand in today’s competitive marketplace,” said Adam Grzybicki, AT&T Ohio president, in a statement.
AT&T currently employs nearly 7,000 people throughout Ohio, officials said.
