Monroeville High School graduate Adam Mastroianni is one of this nation's newest Rhodes Scholars -- joining such company as Bill Clinton, perhaps the world's most famous Rhodes Scholar.

Mastroianni, who plans to graduate in June from Princeton with a psychology degree, will attend Oxford University in England beginning in October.

Ultimately, the son of Doug and Sharon Mastroianni said he'd like "to use psychology to help make the world a better place."

He said to him, being a Rhodes Scholar means he's been "entrusted by this group with the responsibility to fight the world's fight."

A feature story about Mastroianni and his accomplishments was published on the front page of Monday's Norwalk Reflector.
