Ruffing, 17, is a senior who serves as treasurer of the school’s key club and participates in many other clubs and organizations.

She is the senior class president and a member of the girls’ varsity basketball team.

“Nicole exhibits a willingness to learn and listen when she encounters a challenging task,” Principal David Stubblebine said. “Nicole’s responsibility and attitude set her apart from the other students at Monroeville High School.”
