A Wakeman teen girl was charged after she crashed her car Thursday afternoon.

Natalie N. Mowery, 17, of 10404 Angling Road, Wakeman, was charged with operating without reasonable control following the crash that occurred just before 5 p.m. Thursday, said troopers with the Norwalk post of the state Highway Patrol.

Mowery was traveling north on Ohio 99 when her vehicle went off the right side of the road, returned to the road, lost control off the left side of the road, overturned in a ditch and ended up in a bean field, troopers said.

She reported minor injuries, and was taken to Willard Mercy Hospital by Willard Fire.
