Willard mulls stricter rules for grass height

WILLARD - City residents could soon face stricter rules about tall grass. Council heard the first reading of an ordinance Monday that would change the maximum height allowed to 6 inches from the current 8. If the ordinance passes, residents would get four days notice before the city cites them or city workers mow the grass at the property owner's expense.
