Prosecutors will be reviewing the case of an intoxicated male suspect who reportedly was naked when his girlfriend hit him with a vehicle early Tuesday.
The Norwalk Police Department responded to an Old State Road residence at 12:28 a.m. for the report of a male subject, Marcus A. Thornsberry, 22, of Willard, who was hit by a vehicle driven by his girlfriend.
“Through the investigation, it was learned the girlfriend was attempting to leave the residence and the male ran naked behind the vehicle while it was in motion. He sustained minor scrapes to his back,” Officer Dave Daniels wrote in his report.
Thornsberry was charged with disorderly conduct (intoxication), transported to the station and released to a sober relative.
Police forwarded a report to the Norwalk Law Director’s Office and Norwalk Municipal Court Probation Officer Abby Keefer for review.
Police said Thornsberry is on intensive probation and prohibited from consuming alcohol. Court records indicate the suspect was convicted June 10 for resisting arrest and served 15 days in the Huron County Jail consecutive to an undisclosed sentence. The May 31 resisting arrest incident involved the Willard Police Department.
