Fox News moving Megyn Kelly to prime time

She'll move to evening when she returns from maternity leave.
Jul 3, 2013

The longtime anchor of the popular Fox News daytime show "America Live" will get an evening show when she returns from maternity leave, the network said.

What Fox News didn't say is what Kelly's show will be and where it will air. Fox News has long-term deals in place with its other prime-time stars, including Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity.

There has been speculation that Kelly may take the 10 p.m. ET slot on Fox News that is currently held by Greta Van Susteren. However, on Tuesday Van Susteren said on her blog she has a long-term contract "and it is for a show in 'prime time.'"

Kelly's presence on Fox News has moved beyond daytime over the last few years. She frequently appears on O'Reilly's show and co-anchored the network's 2012 election coverage, where she famously took Karl Rove to task for criticizing the network's decision to call Ohio for President Obama.
A Fox News spokeswoman declined to comment on the specific plans for Kelly, who has yet to take her maternity leave. Kelly announced in February she was expecting.

Hmmm...two articles about Fox "News" on the site today. Is the NR an affiliate of Fox, or are the editors pushing a righty agenda?

Agenda? Between the NR and SR I think there has been plenty of left wing Obama loving articles.

In my opinon

You have got to be kidding!, most comments are hateful and criticizing.

You do realize, of course, that these two papers have always been known as solidly Republican. They don't even approach left wing.

hit the road jack

You do know that Huron County was a Republican county don't you? All the whiners left and went to Erie County and thats why Erie County is so full of whinney crybabies known as Dumocrats.

In my opinon

No I did not I thought it was a county of caring people who once had a black woman on the Home coming court in the 50's. Some how we aquired a different group of people who feel superior for some reason. Republican or Democrat it should be about issues not color.

Anything that's not thumping on a Bible with a gun is left-wing to ArmCorn.

roger...of course...all you have to do is read the comments they allow here (on any topic) to know what audience they are catering to.

thought I would shame them a if any editors are listening...they're too busy filing public records requests instead of actually practicing journalism.

Re: "Is the NR an affiliate of Fox,"

Validating once again: Perception is reality.
