COLLINS - Elementary Principal Mary Lynn Mahoney told the Western Reserve board of education Wednesday elementary music teacher Deb Henry and her students will be presenting their annual Veterans' Day program Nov. 13.

Veterans will be invited to the 2 p.m. performance and the public is invited to the 7 p.m. presentation.

Cheryl Fannin, board president and representative on the Western Reserve Endowment Fund Board, said the endowment board will serve ice cream at the 7 o'clock performance.

She added the fund's golf outing is scheduled for May 31, 2008, and seven teachers received $300 grants from the fund.

Board member Wendy Marett was chosen to serve on Western's communications committee, and Dale Daniels and Fannin volunteered for the insurance committee.

Athletic Director Paul Moses presented parts of a training program for coaches he was chosen to preview.

The board learned the cafeteria has new software, Oct. 25 is Celebrate Arts Day in the elementary and members changed the next meeting from Nov. 21 to Nov. 28.
