Police nab escapee sleeping in truck

A Bellevue man wanted on multiple warrants who had escaped from authorities was arrested while sleeping in his van early Wednesday morning. Bellevue police notified the Erie County Sheriff's Office at 10:13 a.m. Tuesday that William D. Clutter, 53, of 742 E. Main St., was at work at Central Soya. When an employee began escorting Clutter to an office, he ran out of a side door and into the woods, Capt. Paul Sigsworth said.
