Reflector Investigates: How good are schools?

Just how good are our schools? Really?

The state's report cards, which came out at the end of the summer, tell us how well they're doing on the standardized tests, but it's hard to say whether that means the schools are effectively preparing our graduates for life.

The Norwalk Reflector means to find out.

It's a tall order, and frankly, we'd like to hear your advice on about how to do it. So if you have some thoughts on how to go about it, if you have some information that would help put this puzzle together, or if you'd just like to check in and see how the investigation is going, go to www.norwalkreflector.com/blogs and click on "Investigates" in the menu bar. Or email nwhite@norwalkreflector.com. Either way, we hope you'll help us answer this question we're eager to discuss it together.

And once we've answered it, we're going to go after another one. So please, if there's anything else you'd like us to look into, visit the Web page, or email us, and let us know.
