Mercy Hospital volunteers recognized

WILLARD - Mercy Hospital of Willard held a recognition luncheon for their dedicated volunteers recently. Volunteers were individually recognized for the hours they contribute annually. The 40 volunteers worked 42,785 hours of service at Mercy Willard in the last year. Larry Foran logged the most volunteer hours with 473 total hours.

WILLARD - Mercy Hospital of Willard held a recognition luncheon for their dedicated volunteers recently. Volunteers were individually recognized for the hours they contribute annually. The 40 volunteers worked 42,785 hours of service at Mercy Willard in the last year.

Larry Foran logged the most volunteer hours with 473 total hours.

"The volunteer staff here at Mercy is a wonderful group of generous people," said Joni Secor, volunteer coordinator. "The time and efforts that they donate are greatly appreciated by our staff and visitors to our hospital. It is a pleasure working with them."

The speaker at the recognition luncheon was Dave Slosser of Port Clinton. Slosser has 40 years experience in the education field. He is currently a part-time counselor/administrator at Kelleys Island School, where he is beginning his fifth year. Slosser gave a motivational speech about the power of being positive.
