Greenwich man jailed

A Greenwich man was sentenced Tuesday to three months in jail for cultivating marijuana and possessing criminal tools. In addition to the 90-day jail sentence, Christopher D. Junk, 47, of 2165 Omega Road, was sentenced to three years of probation for the Jan. 29 offense. He also was fined a total of $1,000 for the two fifth-degree felonies and had his driver's license suspended for six months.

A Greenwich man was sentenced Tuesday to three months in jail for cultivating marijuana and possessing criminal tools.

In addition to the 90-day jail sentence, Christopher D. Junk, 47, of 2165 Omega Road, was sentenced to three years of probation for the Jan. 29 offense. He also was fined a total of $1,000 for the two fifth-degree felonies and had his driver's license suspended for six months.

In other court news:

Jesse Howard, 20, of 2969 Washburn Road, Willard, was sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in jail with work release privileges and fined $500 for complicity to breaking and entering. As part of his three years of community control sanctions, the court ordered him to pay $5,000 in restitution to three victims and prohibited him from having any association with his co-defendants.

The court issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for Andreia D. Nailon, 22, of Mansfield, because she failed to appear for her sentencing on trafficking in drugs.
