HIGHWAY PATROL

Bobby R. Patton, 67, Shelby, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Friday on Ohio 13 after his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by David E. Graham, 49, of Gambier.

David E. Ott, 47, of Sandusky, was charged with failure to control Friday after his vehicle exited Whittlesey Avenue and hit a ditch.

Wayne D. Fife, 39, of 56 Corwin St., was charged with failure to yield Saturday after his vehicle exited Greenwich-Milan Townline Road and hit a yard, some trees and shrubs.

Jessica Wise, 24, of 2840 Ohio 13, Greenwich, hit a deer Saturday on Townline Road 12.

Sharon D. Barbour, 53, of Monroe, Mich., was charged with failure to yield Sunday after her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Jordan T. Becker, 23, of Mansfield, at the intersection of U.S. 250 and Ohio 162.

Ronnie L. Holbrook, 47, of Toledo, was charged with failure to control Sunday after the vehicle exited Ohio 601 and hit a culvert and mailbox.

NORWALK FIRE

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 7:47 p.m. Monday at 101 Riverbend. Returned to station at 8:08.

Responded to a report of a fire in a washing machine at 1:08 p.m. Monday at 154 W. Main St. The fire, which was out upon arrival, was caused by an overheated switch. Returned to station at 1:40.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 8 a.m. Monday at 405 Industrial Parkway. Returned to station at 8:40.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 8:44 a.m. Monday at 106 W. Main St. Returned to station at 9:30.

Provided mutual aid to the Townsend Township Fire Department at 2:50 a.m. today at 1766 Scranton Road. Returned to station at 6.

Stephen C. Smith, 53, of Perryville, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Monday after his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Christy N. Weidinger, 31, of 62 N. Prospect St., Apt. 1, on Benedict Avenue.

Roberto P. Munoz, 41, no address available, was charged with an open container violation Monday.

A South Old State Road resident reported harassing telephone calls Monday.

A West Washington Street reported someone may have stolen their vehicle license plate Monday.

A Spring Street resident reported telephone harassment Monday.

A U.S. 224, New Haven, resident reported telephone harassment Monday.

Donald A. Osterland, 40, of 2940 Ohio 162, New London, was arrested Monday on a contempt of court warrant on the original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

A Rome-Greenwich Road, North Fairfield, resident reported a possible burglary Monday.

A Chenango Road, Wakeman, resident reported an unruly juvenile Monday.

A Young Road, Bellevue, resident reported vandalism Monday.

An Egypt Road, Willard, resident reported an attempted burglary Monday.

Received a notice of a property dispute on U.S. 250 Monday.

A Chenango Road, Wakeman, resident reported an attempted burglary Monday.

Responded to a drug complaint at the Willard Reservoir on Monday.

WAKEMAN POLICE

Susan Frindt, 46, of Wakeman, was charged with driving with a suspended license during an Aug. 15 traffic stop and released.

Samantha Lane, 22, of Elyria, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant Aug. 20. She was released from the Huron County Jail the next day after posting bond.

Brenda Springer, 33, of 26 Townsend St., Wakeman, was stopped in connection with weaving and charged with driving under the influence during an Aug. 23 traffic stop. She was released from the Huron County Jail after posting bond Aug. 27.

Bernadette McCullough, whose age was unavailable, of 41 Townsend St., Wakeman, was arrested on an undisclosed Sandusky warrant Aug. 25 and turned over to the Sandusky Police Department at the Erie County line.

Michael Broadwater, 44, of Wakeman, was charged with driving with a suspended license during an Aug. 29 traffic stop and released.

Edith Cruz, 32, of Cleveland, was charged with driving with a suspended license during an Aug. 29 traffic stop and released.

Chad Legg, 29, of Wakeman, was charged with driving with a suspended license during a Sept. 3 traffic stop and released.

Tracy Ogle, 35, of Huron, was arrested on an undisclosed Erie County warrant Wednesday and turned over to the Erie County Sheriff's Office at the Erie County line. Police had responded to North Street in connection with an unwanted intoxicated female at the home.

Octavia Maynard, 18, of Elyria, was charged with driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop Thursday and released.

Russell Pruitt, 56, of Norwalk, was charged with driving under the influence and possession of marijuana during a traffic stop Friday and released.

Brenda Burke, whose age was unavailable, of 37 Verlin St., Wakeman, was arrested on a Monroeville Police Department warrant. She is serving a 20-day sentence at the Huron County Jail for contempt of court.
