STEUBEN - Sunday is the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost. The scripture lessons, based on the theme "Freed to Be," are Jeremiah 18:1-11; Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18; Philemon 1-21; and Luke 14:25-33. The fall schedule begins Sunday, with Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. and worship at 10:30.

St. Mary/St. Anthony
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) begins this weekend. This is a process of study and prayer for those interested in joining the Catholic Church. For information call Linda Salmons at (419) 366-7778.
The annual St. Mary parish festival will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at Reynolds Hall. Jerry Gravenhorst chicken dinners will served. St. Peter Lutheran
This church will have Sunday school Rally Day from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Sunday. The theme is "Grow to Go Disciples on Mission." All parents and children are to meet at the sanctuary. Sunday school is for nursery through high school and adult classes will be starting Sept. 16.

This church announces a change in service times. Beginning Sunday, the church will gather in two worship services 9 and 10:45 a.m. The Rev.
