Dr. John J. Parente recently joined the medical staff at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. He specializes in emergency medicine and joins Drs. Michael Murray, Timothy Thomas, Kristopher Brickman and David Branch at Norwalk Emergency Services.
Parente recently completed his emergency medicine residency at Akron City Hospital. He served as a physician in Wooster Community Hospital's emergency department and as night medical officer in the ICU at St. Thomas Hospital, Akron, a part of the Summa Health System. He also was an associate EMS Director for Springfield Township.
Parente earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine in 2004 from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also received a bachelor of arts and sciences degree from John Carroll University in 2000. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Emergency Physicians, Ohio Medical Political Action Committee and American Medical Political Action Committee.
