Jantsch part of Philly Orchestra

NEW LONDON - Carol Jantsch last year became a tuba player with the Philadelphia Orchestra, making her the first woman and perhaps the youngest person ever to earn a tuba seat with one of the top five symphony orchestras in the country. Jantsch, 22, is the daughter of Bill and Nancy Jennings Jantsch (NLHS Class of 1971) of Mt. Vernon and the granddaughter of Royce and Jane Jennings of New London.
