Bellevue man sent to jail

A former Bellevue man was sentenced to three years of intensive probation Wednesday for having cocaine in his shoe during a Monroeville traffic stop. Jeremy A. Griggs, 20, formerly of 100A Pimlico Place, was the passenger during a Monroeville Police Department traffic stop in mid-January on U.S. 20. Officers said they stopped the Bellevue driver because of various equipment violations and released her with a citation on driving with a suspended license.
