Main Street news

Incoming fifth-graders and returning sixth-graders are invited to attend Main Street School's orientation program, scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday. Parents also are invited and encouraged to attend. In addition to a presentation on school policies and procedures, students will also receive their homeroom/team assignments and be afforded the opportunity to tour the building and get accustomed to where their classes will be during the 2007-08 year. Then, parents of sixth-grade band and orchestra students are invited to attend an orientation meeting the same evening at 7 p.m. at the Main Street School cafeteria. Representatives from area music stores will be on hand to discuss instrument rental and purchase plans.
