Joseph S. Wyatt, 25, of 2359 U.S. 20, Unit E, Collins, was charged with failure to yield the right-of-way Sunday on Ohio 99 after his vehicle exited the road and struck several fences and a pasture before stopping in a bean field.

NORWALK POLICE

Kenneth A. Hillman, 24, of 22 S. Ridge St., Monroeville, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Friday on Whittlesey Avenue after his vehicle hit the vehicle driven by Paul F. Slempa, 43, of Clyde.

Stella M. Soisson, 73, of 36 Homewood Ave., was charged with a red-light violation Saturday on Ohio 61 after her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Melissa L. Churchill, 41, of 26 N. West St.

Sarah M. Ulery, 26, of 170 W. Main St., Apt. 4, was charged with driving an unsafe vehicle Tuesday after her vehicle's brakes went out, causing it to hit a curb and picnic table at a Milan Avenue business.

Quran W. Bowman, 30, of 49 Glover St., was arrested Wednesday on 20 warrants and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. He is serving a 50-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

Clayton A. Blair, 25, of 21 Newton St., was arrested on a warrant Wednesday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs on the original charge of driving with a suspended license. He also was charged with possession of fireworks. Blair is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

Heath R. Denger, 35, of 36 Glover St., was arrested on four warrants Wednesday on the original charges of driving with a suspended license, driving under the influence and assault. He is serving a 46-day sentence at the Huron County Jail. Denger has not been sentenced on a suspected Norwalk Municipal Court probation violation.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Assisted at a Southwest Street accident by the county fairgrounds Tuesday.

Responded to a private property accident on Zenobia Road, Wakeman, Wednesday.

Received a complaint of a motorbike near Ohio 601 Wednesday.

Received reports of threats made on Jennings Road near New London Wednesday.

Received reports of subjects sleeping on the property on Broad Street, Willard, Wednesday.

Manni Rahman, 24, of Shaker Heights, was arrested on a Cuyahoga County felony indictment and charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of criminal tools. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail awaiting an extradition hearing.

Brooke A. Turner, 22, of Norwalk, was arrested Wednesday on three Perkins Township Police Department felony and misdemeanor warrants and released to a Perkins officer. Deputies received a tip that Turner and Rahman would be at the Huron County Human Services building in the morning and arrested the two suspects without incident.

Responded to a property dispute Wednesday on Seminary Road.

Responded to an accident Wednesday on Ohio 162, North Fairfield.

Received a theft report from a Cleveland Road business employee Wednesday. NORWALK FIRE

Responded to 249 Benedict Ave. at 1:26 a.m. today after an employee burned some biscuits and set off the alarm. Firefighters reset the alarm and returned to station at 1:55.
