A married couple from Kenton, Ohio is facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized 165 individually wrapped units of heroin, 18 Oxycodone pills and 66 Xanax pills, worth more than $107,000 following a traffic stop in Allen County.
The Lima Post received a call of a possible impaired driver on State Route 309. Troopers responded to the area and stopped a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis, with Ohio registration, for a left of center violation on State Route 309, near Bowman Road in Bath Township at 5:27 p.m. Monday.
The driver, Keith M. Whitmore, 54, was arrested for OVI. During a search of his person, the trooper located the pills and $650 in cash. Upon contact with the driver’s wife, Kelly M. Whitmore, 35, she produced the individually wrapped heroin.
Both suspects were incarcerated in the Allen County Jail, and charged with possession of heroin, a second-degree felony. If convicted, they could both face up to 8 years in prison and up to a $15,000 fine.

Lmao....More inflated numbers to make the state richards look good.
I'm shocked! Not about the drugs ...the fact that they're actually married!
LOL.
Whats even more shocking is they are only charged with possession of heroin.
Wow..shows how dumb drug addicts are...carry all this stuff on you then drink and drive...
TEN THOUSAND MILLION.....AND A DEATH STAR...GOOD JOB TROOPERS JUST A LITTLE OVER 100 MILE AWAY..GREAT LOCAL NEWS TOTALLY RELEVANT TO OUR AREA.
lol $15,000 fine, hmm wonder how they gonna get that kind of money..Maybe selling drugs..Outrages fines enable people to go right back to what they were doing, its the only way they know how to make a quick buck..Com'on man!
If we would just let the mexican drug cartels cut their heroin with Fentynal again, we could clean up the heroin drug problem again, we would find these jokers stiff as a board with the needle still in them! Reduced court loads, less crime, yeah that does have an upside!
These comments prove how blind you really are! does anyone in their right mind think that all these drugs (no matter what kind) can get to the streets of America without the government being involved in it? get a clue people! by the way,I'm not a proponent of heroin or other harsh drugs on the streets either, but, if you can get the govt. out of the drug business our problem would go away a lot easier.
