Lovers Lane offenses likely related

Huron County Sheriff's Major Greg Englund considers it "awfully suspicious" there were two breaking and entering incidents Wednesday near each other in Ridgefield Township. Englund said the incidents in the 4600 and 1300 blocks of Lovers Lane Road could be connected. The first complainant said her son noticed his yellow and white Polaris was missing as of 12:50 p.m. Wednesday. When Sgt. Mike Cooksey arrived to the first victim's home, a neighbor from 1300 block of Lovers Lane Road reported someone broke into his locked garage. It's unknown what, if anything, was stolen from the garage. The incidents remain under investigation.
