The body of a 26-year-old Bellevue man has been discovered this morning in the lawn of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office in Sandusky.
A sheriff’s employee alerted Chief Deputy Jared Oliver about 7:20 a.m. Oliver said he found the body and quickly determined the man had died of a gunshot wound to the head.
The Lucas County Coroner’s Office will be performing the autopsy.

How did he "quickly determine" that this was a suicide ? I thought only the coroner could rule on cause of death ???? Hmmmm....either this is crappy journalism or the officer spouted off something he should not have. Which is it ?
It doesn't say that he said suicide, it says he died of a gsw to the head. Which in retrospect would be easy to spot.
".....and shoots himself in the head" isn't that the definition of suicide?
Prolly from previous head trauma caused by playing Pee Wee football.
How did no one hear a gunshot right outside the building?
What a shame that something in this person's life drove him to this end.Sympathies to the family !
