Boy in critical after accident

A 9-year-old Sandusky boy remains hospitalized in critical condition following a traffic accident in Milan Township on Monday afternoon. Tyler Hawkins was a passenger in a 2000 Chevrolet Trail Blazer driven by Amanda L. Adams, 24, of Sandusky when the accident occurred west of Plank Road at 11:25 a.m., according to state Highway Patrol troopers. He is hospitalized at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo with what authorities called "incapacitating injuries."
