HIGHWAY PATROL Tara B. Schiefer, 28, of Bucyrus, was charged with failure to control, driving under the influence and a seatbelt violation after an accident Friday. She went off the right side of Ohio 4 and hit a sign post, culvert and ditch. North Central EMS transported her to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor injuries. No further information was available.

HIGHWAY PATROL

Tara B. Schiefer, 28, of Bucyrus, was charged with failure to control, driving under the influence and a seatbelt violation after an accident Friday. She went off the right side of Ohio 4 and hit a sign post, culvert and ditch. North Central EMS transported her to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor injuries. No further information was available.

Tracey R. Jeremay, 33, of 2663 E. U.S. 224, Greenwich, was charged with failure to control Monday after she went off the right side of U.S. 250 and hit a utility pole. New London firefighters transported her and her two passengers, Thomas D. Boatright, 11, and Charlize A. Jeremay, 2, to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor injuries. Jeremay was treated and released, but no further information was available on the other patients.

Paul D. Allwood, 55, of Columbia Station, was charged with failure to control Monday after he fell asleep while heading north on U.S. 250, went off the right side and hit a pole, causing his pickup truck to roll over. North Central EMS transported him to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor injuries. Allwood was treated and released.

Larry R. Tolley, 44, of 3143 Liberty Road, Willard, hit a deer Monday on Liberty Road.

MONROEVILLE PD

Aaron W. Parker II, 26, of 44 Brown St., Monroeville, was charged with an open container violation and driving with a suspended license in connection with a U.S. 20 traffic stop June 26.

Dale A. Haupricht, 48, of 59 Key Drive, Norwalk, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving while failing to reinstate his license and driving without a license plate light in connection with a traffic stop Friday at the intersection of Ohio 547 and U.S. 20.

Ray O. Trice, 24, of 11C Williams St., Monroeville, was arrested on several warrants Sunday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Trevor D. Key, 21, of Clyde, was charged with disorderly conduct in connection with having a blood alcohol content level of .097 during a police station incident Sunday.

NORWALK POLICE

Melissa M. Nolan, 32, of 55 State St., was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Monday after she hit the rear of the stopped vehicle driven by Michael L. Worthington, 36, of Shelby, on West Main Street. Worthington and his passenger, Jarl J. Picou, 43, of Bucyrus, reported possible injuries, but weren't transported.

An Old State Road resident reported the theft of her silver and light blue bicycle from her front yard Monday.

Matthew T. Grose, 22, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on four warrants Monday and charged with failure to appear on the original charges of driving under the influence, failure to reinstate and speeding. He was released after a court appearance and signing a personal recognizance bond.

A Ford Avenue resident reported finding pieces of wood on the kitchen floor and her dog and iguana were missing when she returned home Monday.

A West Main Street resident reported finding an abandoned blue Trek Multi Track bicycle in the front yard Monday.

A Butler Road, New London, resident reported the suspected violation of a temporary protection order Monday.

An employee of the Fisher-Titus Medical Center emergency room reported treating a juvenile accidentally shot by a sibling Monday on Greenwich Milan Townline Road.

Dispatchers received two 9-1-1 calls about an unwanted person Monday on East U.S. 20, Wakeman.

Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation Monday on Ohio 60, Wakeman.

An area resident reported losing her Verizon Nokia cell phone at an Ohio 18 business Monday.

A Fitchville River Road, Wakeman, resident reported the theft of a 2001 KX65 dirt bike Monday.

A South Norwalk Road resident requested a deputy check on the well-being of a boy about 13 or 14 because he had been there so long Monday.

A North Old State Road resident reported a domestic dispute Monday.

The Willard Police Department reported someone having a possible mental problem Monday on South Myrtle Avenue, Willard.

A U.S. 224, Greenwich, resident reported a loud music complaint Monday.

An East U.S. 20, Wakeman, resident reported a loud fireworks complaint Monday.

An area resident requested a deputy check on the well-being of her elderly parents on Ohio 13, Greenwich, because they weren't answering the phone Monday.

A Tiger Road resident reported a complaint involving four-wheelers and a motorized tricycle in the road Monday.

The Willard Police Department requested a deputy check U.S. 224, Plymouth, for a girl missing from Willard as of Monday.

NORWALK FIRE

Dispatched to gain entry at 120 Leisure Lane 11:39 a.m. Monday over concerns about the occupants' well-being. Dispatchers notified firefighters that the residents had been located outside. Returned to station at 11:40.

Responded to a dump truck on fire at 12:12 p.m. Monday on New State Road, but Fairfield Township firefighters said assistance wasn't needed. The fire started in a dumpster, instead of the dump truck, and extended to an adjacent home. Returned to station at 12:38.

Determined the supply line to the clothes dryer was leaking and shut off the gas supply to it at 12:53 p.m. Monday at 66 1/2 Wooster St. Returned to station at 12:59.
