Village employees to get raise

Council OKs 4 percent across-the-board raise

New London council met briefly Thursday and agreed to give village employees a 4 percent across-the-board raise, effective Tuesday.

This is the first increase they have received since January of 2009, when they were given a 3 percent raise.

A story about the village council meeting was published in the Reflector last week.

Wow, I haven't seen a raise in over SIX years! I have also lost money due to higher health insurance costs. How do I get a government job?
