A Norwalk native now will be protecting the community as a part-time police officer.

Jason Bush was sworn in Thursday morning as a reserve Norwalk police officer by Norwalk Mayor Rob Duncan.

To read a feature story about Bush, pick up a copy of Friday's Reflector or subscribe to the e-paper for less than $1 per week and read the story now.

Congrads Jason

LMAO,this guy? REEEALY? NPD must be absolutely desperate for reserve officers. I give Bush 2 months at best before he's fired or in the hospital.

congrats Jason...i always knew you could do it!!!you were also a good teacher too..thank you :)

Congrats Jason. I know you will do a great job!!

Hopefully "nuthin4u" will be his first arrestee...and don't you have anything better to do at 3:28 a.m.?

Bwaaaahahaahaa! jamie9700 U people are so naive. I happen to know this guy, and I also know he's been turned down by half the LE departments in northen Ohio...for a reason. Don't even attempt to comment when you have no idea what someone else may know. And not that it's any of your business what I have to do at 0328 in the morning, since you made an ignorant comment please allow me to retort...I had just got home from work at 0300 and I felt like having a laugh so I decided to check the Norwalk Rejector. Have a nice day tards.

Good one, nuthin. Keep 'em comin'.
