An area motorist was taken to the hospital after being injured in a two-vehicle collision.

At 2:42 p.m. Monday, Thomas F. Estes 32, of 88 Broad St., Monroeville, was traveling west on U.S. 20 when his vehicle slammed into the back of another vehicle that was stopped for a school bus, said troopers with the Norwalk post of the state Highway Patrol.

Estes reported minor injuries and was taken by Citizens Ambulance to Oberlin Hospital.

The other driver was Angel M. Cooley, 33, 6060 U.S. 20 Lot 7, Wakeman. Cooley's passenger, Damion J. Cooley, 16, of 6060 U.S. 20 Lot 7, Wakeman, also reported minor injuries and was taken by Citizens to Oberlin Hospital, troopers said.

Estes was charged with following too closely.

Norwalkian Damsel

This is disturbing. People past 60 need to take the driving test again, not just because of bias but because there is actual biological proof that almost all sensory pathways deteriorate with age.

@damsel - not sure what your comment has to do with this story . . .

The guy is 32 yrs old. soooooo you're dumb.

NOONE in this story was over 35! I see more "middle age" making mistakes than the "over 60" crowd. The middle aged ones are too busy to pay attention!

tell it how it is

She still makes a good point

She's talking to herself.

driver #1 age 32
drive #2 age 33
passenger age 16
did u read the article before u made such a stupid comment?

I hope no one has ALLSTATE INSURANCE...they dont want to pay for medical or give u anything for pain and suffering... they think just because you get "bumped" as the put it, your not entitled to it cause you were not injured!!

tell it how it is

and everyone bashing the statement,

I originally read this article wrong, also. I thought it said the man was 88 years old, and I happen to have a very high reading level..and am a journalism major.
They should have worded that part differently because it's very easy to confuse.

@ tell it how it is, ?
