A rural Bellevue man entered a "not guilty" plea to one count each of burglary and theft of credit cards Monday.
Adam T. Godfrey, 24, of 8609 County Road 29, is out, having posted a $10,000 bond with a 10-percent provision. The case originally went through Bellevue Municipal Court.
Godfrey is prohibited from having any contact with the female victim.
His Huron County Common Pleas Court trial is scheduled for Feb. 26. If convicted of both felonies, Godfrey faces up to 9 1/2 years in prison and a maximum fine of $26,000.
Godfrey has a pending case in Richland County.
"His case isn't quite resolved in Richland County," Huron County Public Defender David Longo said Monday.
