Cartoon characters battle in Norwalk in her imagination

The "Numbuh 2" character from the Cartoon Network Show "Code Name Next Door" battles a villain atop the Huron County Courthouse.

At another point, Numbuh 2 continues to show heights don't scare him, as he poses behind Berry's Restaurant's sign, dangling high above Main Street.

Welcome to the fictional art world of Norwalk resident and aspiring cartoonist Nikki Skaggs, an 18-year-old who recently was told by her home-school evaluator that her artwork is blessed with a professional quality.

"I'm just very passionate about drawing," Skaggs said. "It's pretty much the only talent I have."
