Norwalk man blows probation, gets prison time

A Norwalk man was sentenced Monday to 17 months in prison for violating the terms of his probation on three separate convictions. Donald G. Miller, 27, of 1475 High St., admitted to testing positive twice for drugs, once for opiates and a second time for opiates and cocaine, Huron County Assistant Prosecutor Daivia Kasper said. He also stopped attending substance abuse counseling at Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services and failed to report to his probation officer as of February.
