After traveling more than 1,500 miles, Dr. James Kasten finally got his chance to run the 26.2 miles he'd been training for since April.
Kasten was originally slated to run in the ING New York City Marathon on Nov. 4. He saw his opportunity evaporate when Mayor Michael Bloomberg canceled the race just minutes before his plane landed.
Instead, Kasten, and his son James, competed in the Anthem Richmond Marathon in Richmond, Va. last weekend.
A story about their race was published in Friday's Reflector.

Way to go, its good to see people who actually spend time making themselves feel better, along with showing their children what you can achieve if you put your mind to it, doesn't matter what place they came in, point is THEY DID IT and did it together.
